ZERGE goes to Brussels

By the occasion of the Polis Annual Conference, ZERGE, the new demand responsive mobility solution of Zalaegerszeg was presented.

András Ekés, managing director of Mobilissimus introduced the preparation period, the challenges and the experiences of the first weeks. ZERGE project was shown among the examples of innovative solutions of similar small and medium cities’ and peri-urban areas. On European level more and more cases are focusing on DRTs as opportunities for serving the mobility needs of remote areas. Even more Polis Network has launched the Small and Medium-sized Cities Platform as an initiative to represent more efficiently common interests of similar urban areas and to develop and test smart mobility solutions.
