Preparing SUMP for the City of Eger involving inhabitants

The elaboration of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Eger is currently in the phase of problem identification. According to the SUMP methodology, we put emphasis on the involvement of stakeholders: besides interviews and forums with professionals, decision makers and NGOs, we also asked for the views of inhabitants. The problem questionnaire – which was available on the city’s website and on paper at several busy locations citywide – counted nearly 600 answers; in addition, a residents’ forum was also held, in the presence of local tv channel Eger Televízió.
