Antal Gertheis presented at the Conference on Walkability in Oradea

The Conference on Walkability of the CityWalk project took place in Oradea, at the City Hall, on the 26 March 2019. The event addressed the obstacles of sustainable forms of mobility in the cities, in line with the theme of the CityWalk project of the INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme.

Antal Gertheis, managing director and economist of Mobilissimus, held a presentation about walkability on the micro level, i.e. street design and infrastructure, showing examples of common barriers and good practices from different European cities, as well as the useful materials developed by the CIVITAS PROSPERITY project. He also participated in a lively panel discussion with Mihai Pașcalău (an architect, expert of urban mobility support department from Regional Development Agency of the North-West Region in Romania) and Dacian Palladi (Oradea City Manager), moderated by Béla Kézy (from MEGAKOM Development Consultants).
